Kacie, song title and artist are at the end of the video: A Long Time from The Great Fiction. Nice song huh? :)

Brooke: any books that are inspiring you lately? I’ve read some great books in the past because you mentioned them, so I’d love to know. Maybe even a blogpost about it…!? I’m such a book nerd.
Anyway, ever since you mentioned him, A.W. Tozer has had a verrry special place in my heart. My fave from him is TPOG.
And Same Kind Of Different As Me? Love.

    Hello Brooke,
If you are still rambling around the mountains of North Carolina, I thought that I might suggest venturing south in to the mountains of North Georgia. They are lovely as well. Also, I think you might enjoy Athens, Georgia as well. It’s an eclectic college town with lots of cool stores and music venues. As well as the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).
That’s all. enjoy your stay in the South,
    Sam

  13. Lara Harrison says:

As someone who has always lived in the South (Savannah, GA) I must say that the evil flying things almost cannot be avoided. Sorry you had to experience this southern phenomenon. May you have more pleasurable experiences with the South in the future!

I was watching the kit-kat add about working like a machine and I was thinking about how hard it must be to write an album…maybe thats the reason I’m a business student?

Have fun and we wait in earnest for the next heart-stopping, foot -tapping, lip-humming album!!! You’re an NZ belle you are!!!

When will you go to Brazil?

  21. Katherine H. says:

    Brrooke!

You are ever so refreshing and entertaining. I love the cinematography.. the ambience…and your face. haha. seriously CANNOT wait to hear your new music. I remember meeting you with my friends at your first Hotel Cafe gig in LA… we waited an hour to speak to you…I was so nervous I could not speak a word when I did finally meet you. I remember softly uttering, “you were amazing tonight” It didn’t help that someone from our party said before I could say anything actually audible,”brooke, we would like a picture with you?” haha. I could tell you were thrown off a by such a quick request but yea, it could’ve been a rare chance to converse with you. At least I have a pic of you and me, nicely developed and framed. Now you are so known and loved in the L.A area compared to then I feel less special of a fan, but am still blessed at your growing fame+influence+opportunity. I have never left a message on a “public figure” ’s website before.. you and your music are just that special to me. love you brooke. I call you my sister ever so naturally and friends laugh at me. But that’s okay. :D -a friend from LA
